Does He Listen to What You Say?

When we really like someone, we want to know every detail, every story, even the insignificant ones. We can't seem to get enough, especially early in the relationship. When a guy consistently asks you about your interests, your hobbies, your desires, your opinions on world events, your personal philosophy, things that are important to you, when he's wanting to know who you are and what you like, he is not only interested in you, he's investing in you.

This is especially true if he remembers many of the things you told him: where you grew up, your favorite activities, your favorite foods, things you can live with, things you can live without. He will also want to share himself with you, especially the good parts, like areas where he is succeeding. This is because when a guy likes you, he wants to impress you, he wants you to think he's the right guy for you.

A guy who is truly interested in you will also be interested in your future. He’ll want to know about your long-term goals, plans, where you see yourself in 5, 10 years. He'll want to know whether you plan to stay in the city or town you are now. He'll be asking you these questions, not just because he cares about you and is interested in you, but also because he'll want to know where he could possibly fit in this future of yours.

The key here, however, is CONSISTENCY. Does he still care about what you say in month 3 as he did in the first few weeks? More importantly, is he just as interested after you've had sex for a while as he was in the very beginning before you had sex?

When a guy is really interested in who you are, and not just your body, his curiosity will be stronger than his libido. Remember that!
